Scatter Radar Line Chart

Expanded Short Description

The Scatter Radar Line chart is represented by the ScatterRadarLineSeriesView object, which belongs to both Radar Series Views and Point, Line and Spline Series Views. This view displays data as a line on a circular grid that has multiple axis along which data can be plotted. The series point is also represented in the same order that they have in the collection. That is in contrast to other view types that sort their points by arguments, and some aggregate points with equal arguments into a single entry along the X-axis.

For example, the following image demonstrates a Scatter Radar Line Chart, representing a graph for the Polar Rose function.

Expanded Chart Type Characteristics

The table below lists the main characteristics of this chart type.

Series View type ScatterRadarLineSeriesView
Diagram type 2D-RadarDiagram
Number of arguments per series point 1
Number of values per series point 1

For information on which chart types can be combined with the Scatter Radar Line Chart, refer to the Combining Different Series Views document.

A complete sample project is available in the DevExpress Code Examples database at http://www.devexpress.com/example=T230414.

The following example demonstrates how to create a Scatter Radar Line Chart.

Note that this series view type is associated with the RadarDiagram type, and you should cast your Diagram object to this type in order to access its specific options.
