Conditional Formatting

ASPxCardView supports conditional formatting, thus automatically applies cell formatting based on specified rules. This feature allows end users to notice critical information, aid in identifying trends and exceptions, and compare data.

The following image demonstrates one of the possible implementations of conditional formatting – the cells of the first ten cards with the highest price are formatted in bold and red font. Multiple format rules can be applied to ASPxCardView simultaneously.

To see this feature in action, please refer to the following online demo: Conditional Formatting.

The style settings applied to grid cells can be exported together with data to various formats using our data aware export engine. Moreover, when we export data to Excel formats (XLS and XLSX), the format conditions are transformed to corresponding Excel conditional formatting rules. Therefore, you can manage the rules in Excel after export.
