Horizontal Scrolling

The maximum number of columns that can be displayed within the VerticalGrid is specified by the ASPxVerticalGridPagerSettings.PageSize (through VerticalGridSettings.SettingsPager.PageSize) property. By default, columns are automatically resized to fit the grid's width.

To show more records within a single VerticalGrid page without affecting the width of grid columns, you can display the horizontal scrollbar.

You can enable horizontal scrolling, using the ASPxGridSettings.HorizontalScrollBarMode (through VerticalGridSettings.Settings.HorizontalScrollBarMode) property.
Note

Enabling horizontal scrollbars on a VerticalGrid extension disables the paging gesture functionality, so the GridSettingsBase.EnablePagingGestures property is not in effect.

Expanded Example

The code sample below illustrates how to implement horizontal scrolling within the VerticalGrid extension.
