Expanded Version History

Before version 13.1 (v2013 vol 1), DevExpress ASP.NET controls supported the following SharePoint versions:

  • WSS 3.0
  • MOSS 2007
  • SharePoint 2010

Starting with version 13.1 (v2013 vol 1), DevExpress ASP.NET controls only support SharePoint 2013.

Starting with version 17.1 (v2017 vol 1), DevExpress ASP.NET controls support SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016.

DevExpress base/ASP.NET products migrated to .NET Framework v4+ starting with version 13.1 (v2013 vol 1). It no longer supports SharePoint versions before SharePoint 2013 because they require/operate under ASP.NET v2 (.NET v2) runtime.
