Support for SharePoint

The installation of the ASP.NET Controls contains a specifically designed wrapper of the ASPxHtmlEditor control for SharePoint. This ASPxHtmlEditor for SharePoint wrapper provides the following site features after being registered within the SharePoint environment:

  • SPxHtmlEditorWebPart

It allows the content it occupies within a Web Part Page to be edited using the ASPxHtmlEditor control.

  • Use ASPxHtmlEditor to edit Text fields

Substitutes a standard rich text editor used to edit the content of columns whose type is multiple lines of text within SharePoint list pages, for the ASPxHtmlEditor control.

In addition, as with all other controls within our ASP.NET product line, the ASPxHtmlEditor control can be integrated into SharePoint sites by inserting it directly into SharePoint page markup as an individual web control. Refer the Developer Capabilities documentation section to learn more.
