Filter Row

The Filter Row allows an end-user to filter data by typing text directly into the row. A filter condition can be applied automatically based on the value entered (if the ASPxGridViewBehaviorSettings.FilterRowMode (via GridViewSettings.SettingsBehavior.FilterRowMode) property is set to Auto), or on the Apply button click (if the ASPxGridViewBehaviorSettings.FilterRowMode (via GridViewSettings.SettingsBehavior.FilterRowMode) property is set to OnClick). The filter condition can be selected from the context menu, which is invoked by clicking a filter row button.

The table below lists the main members which affect the element's appearance and functionality:

ASPxGridViewSettings.ShowFilterRow (via GridViewSettings.Settings.ShowFilterRow)

ASPxGridViewSettings.ShowFilterRowMenu (via GridViewSettings.Settings.ShowFilterRowMenu)

GridViewStyles.FilterRow (via GridViewSettings.Styles.FilterRow)

GridViewStyles.FilterCell (via GridViewSettings.Styles.FilterCell)

GridViewDataColumn.FilterCellStyle (via MVCxGridViewColumn.FilterCellStyle)

GridViewStyles.FilterRowMenu (via GridViewSettings.Styles.FilterRowMenu)

GridViewStyles.FilterRowMenuItem (via GridViewSettings.Styles.FilterRowMenuItem)

ASPxGridViewBehaviorSettings.FilterRowMode (via GridViewSettings.SettingsBehavior.FilterRowMode)
