Spell Checker

Spell Checker underlines the misspelled words in strings, comments, XML comments and HTML elements in you code against a specified dictionary. It checks the entire active document after you have just opened the document or have just turned spell checker on. Then it checks the text word-by-word as you type.

To fix an error, call Context Menu for the misspelled word and choose the desired item from the Spell Checker submenu.

There are two ways to enable Spell Checker.

  • Open the Spell Checker options page and check the Enabled checkbox.

  • Click the Spell Checker button on the DXCore Visualize toolbar.

You can customize Spell Checker options via the Spell Checker options page.

Note

This product is designed for outdated versions of Visual Studio. Although Visual Studio 2015 is supported, consider using the CodeRush extension with Visual Studio 2015 or higher.
