System Requirements

The CodeRush extension utilizes the "Roslyn" engine, which is natively supported by the Visual Studio 2015 IDE. The following editions are supported by the extension.

  • Visual Studio 2015 Community
  • Visual Studio 2015 Professional
  • Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise
  • Visual Studio 2017 Community
  • Visual Studio 2017 Professional
  • Visual Studio 2017 Enterprise
Note

The Express edition is not supported, because it does not support third-party extensions.

If you use an older Visual Studio version, consider the CodeRush Classic extension.
