Blank Lines

The Blank Lines page contains options that allow you to configure the number of blank lines:

  • around:

    • Simple Method
    • Method
    • Property \ Indexer \ Event
    • Interface and Auto-Implemented Property
    • Simple Property \ Indexer \ Event
    • Field
  • around and within:

    • Region
    • Namespace
    • Type

You can also configure the number of blank lines before a single line comment.

The Excessive Blank Lines group allows you to specify the maximum number of blank lines in your code.
