How to: Connect a Map Control to the Bing Geocode Service

Show Me

A complete sample project is available in the DevExpress Code Examples database at http://www.devexpress.com/example=E4149.

This example demonstrates how to provide the capability for end-users to click on a map and get detailed information about this location, thanks to the Bing Geocode service.

Note

If you run the application, and see a window with the following error message: ”The specified Bing Maps key is invalid. To create a developer account, refer to http://www.microsoft.com/maps/developers”, refer to the following tutorial: How to: Get a Bing Maps Key.
