DockOperationStartingEventArgs.DockTarget Property

Gets a Dock Item to which the current Dock Item is to be docked.

Namespace:DevExpress.Xpf.Docking.Base
Assembly:DevExpress.Xpf.Docking.v17.1.dll

Expanded Syntax

Property value

Type: BaseLayoutItem
A BaseLayoutItem to which the current Dock Item is to be docked.

Expanded Remarks

The DockTarget property returns null for all operation types except for docking to other Dock Items. If a Dock Item is docked via a double mouse click or unchecking the auto-hide pin button, the DockTarget property returns null as well.

Use the DockOperation property to identify the current operation type.

See the DockLayoutManager.DockOperationStarting event to learn more.
