Important
You are viewing documentation for the legacy WPF Scheduler control. If you're starting a new project, we strongly recommend that you use a new control declared in the DevExpress.Xpf.Scheduling namespace. If you decide to upgrade an existing project in order to switch to the updated scheduler control, see the Migration Guidelines document.
The TimeRulerDialogServiceTemplate property can be used only when a new MVVM-based mechanism for form display is turned on. To activate this mechanism, set the FormCustomizationUsingMVVM or FormCustomizationUsingMVVMLocal property to true.
The template provided by the TimeRulerDialogServiceTemplate property must contain an object that is a descendant of the ServiceBase class and implements the DevExpress.Mvvm.IDialogService interface. By default, this template contains the DialogService. If the TimeRulerDialogServiceTemplate property contains null, or the template does not contain a ServiceBase descendant implementing the DevExpress.Mvvm.IDialogService interface, the Time Ruler form will not be shown.
For more information about supported services, refer to the Services section.
