Hierarchy, Access and Deletion

Member Description
ColumnView.FocusedRowHandle Gets or sets the focused record by its handle.
GridView.IsGroupRow Indicates whether the specified row is a group row.
GridView.GetRowLevel Returns the row's group level.
GridView.GetVisibleRowLevel Returns the group level of a row specified by its visible index.
GridView.GetChildRowCount Returns the number of immediate children for a particular group row.
GridView.GetChildRowHandle Returns the handle of a group row's child.
GridView.GetParentRowHandle Determines a particular row's parent group row.
GridView.GetDataRowHandleByGroupRowHandle Returns the handle of the first data row within a group.
ColumnView.DeleteRow Deletes a data record or group row (in Grid Views) from the View.


Group Row Content
Member Description
GridView.GroupFormat Gets or sets the text pattern for group rows.
GridColumn.GroupFormat Provides access to the formatting settings for the column's values which are displayed within group rows.
GridView.GetGroupRowDisplayText Returns the text displayed within a specific group row.
GridView.GetGroupRowValue Gets the value of the specified grouping column by which data is grouped.
GridView.GetGroupRowPrintValue Returns the export value corresponding to the specified group row. The value will be exported when exporting the grid View's data as values, not as display text in MS Excel format.

Expanding and Collapsing

GridView.GetRowExpanded Indicates whether a specific group row is expanded.
GridView.SetRowExpanded Expands or collapses the specified group row and, optionally, the child group rows at all nesting levels.
GridView.SetGroupLevelExpanded Expands or collapses group rows at the specified group level. Allows you to expand/collapse child group rows.
GridView.CollapseAllGroups Collapses all groups.
GridView.CollapseGroupLevel Collapses group rows corresponding to the specified group level. Allows you to collapse group rows recursively.
GridView.CollapseGroupRow Collapses the specified group row and optionally any child group rows at all nesting levels.
GridView.ExpandAllGroups Expands all groups.
GridView.ExpandGroupLevel Expands group rows corresponding to the specified group level. Allows you to expand group rows recursively.
GridView.ExpandGroupRow Expands the specified group row.
GridView.GroupRowCollapsed Fires immediately after a group row has been collapsed.
GridView.GroupRowCollapsing Occurs before group rows are collapsed.
GridView.GroupRowExpanded Fires immediately after a group row has been expanded.

GridOptionsBehavior.AutoExpandAllGroups Gets or sets whether all the groups within the View are automatically expanded.
GridOptionsBehavior.KeepGroupExpandedOnSorting Gets or sets a value specifying whether the group rows' expanded state is preserved when applying data sorting.
