Information Functions

This document briefly describes information functions implemented in the XtraSpreadsheet.

Syntax

CELLReturns information about the formatting, location, or content of a cell.CELL(info_type, [reference])
ERROR.TYPEReturns a number corresponding to one of the error values.ERROR.TYPE(value)
INFOReturns information about the current operating environment.INFO(type_text)
ISBLANKTests if the value is a reference to an empty cell.ISBLANK(value)
ISERRTests if the value or expression returns an error.ISERR(value)
ISERRORTests if the value or expression returns an error, except for the #N/A error.ISERROR(value)
ISEVENTests if the number is even.ISEVEN(value)
ISFORMULATests if the refrenced cell contains formula.ISFORMULA(reference)
ISLOGICALTests if the value is a logical value.ISLOGICAL(value)
ISNATests if the value or expression returns the #N/A error.ISNA(value)

SHEETReturns the sheet number of the referenced sheet.SHEET(value)

The value parameter is optional. It is the name of a sheet or a reference for which to obtain the sheet number. If the value is omitted, the number of the sheet that contains the function is returned.

SHEETSReturns the number of sheets in a reference.SHEETS(reference)

The reference parameter is optional. If the parameter is omitted, the number of sheets in the workbook that contains the function is returned.

TYPEReturns the type of value.TYPE(value)
