Look And Feel and Skin Support

All controls included in the XtraEditors library support common Look And Feel options: you can apply a painting scheme or skin used by all controls and their elements.

To further refine fonts and colors, you can additionally customize control appearance.

To change a control's LookAndFeel settings, use the LookAndFeel property. For BaseControl descendants, use the BaseControl.LookAndFeel property. For editors derived from the BaseEdit class, use the RepositoryItem.LookAndFeel property of the editor's BaseEdit.Properties object.

You can apply a paint style to:

  • a specific DevExpress control
  • all the controls within a form (when using the XtraForm form)
  • all the controls in your application

For detailed information on LookAndFeel settings refer to the Look And Feel document.
