XafApplication.Setup() Method

Initializes the newly created XafApplication class instance.

Namespace: DevExpress.ExpressApp

Assembly: DevExpress.ExpressApp.v24.1.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.ExpressApp

#Declaration

public void Setup()

#Remarks

This method is automatically called in the Main (Session_Start) method after creating the WinApplication or WebApplication object.

Leave this method to initialize the application’s settings with default values and the values set via the Application Designer. To set custom values for the XafApplication.ApplicationName, XafApplication.ConnectionString, XafApplication.Modules, XafApplication.ObjectSpaceProvider and XafApplication.Security properties, call the appropriate Setup method overload.

XAF WinForms applications run Setup in a new thread. See the RunSetupInNewThread article and BC4941 breaking change for details.
